The Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai, says the Nigerian Army has deployed Troops to help curb the clashes between farmers and herdsmen across three states towards ensuring peace and stability in the areas. Buratai who made this known at the official inauguration of the Nigerian Army Farms and Ranch during the presentation of farm Implement to the Army by the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development in Abuja, listed the states where the troops had been sent to as Benue, Taraba, and Nasarawa, noting that the Army would support the Federal Government to stem the clashes.
