The fire service with support from men of the Nigerian Police rescued the man alive while he was taking to the General Hospital, Igando for medical attention.

The Spokesman of the fire service also enjoined Lagosians to take safety and security very seriously and should not hesitate in making emergency calls to necessary responders for prompt attention, thereby saving lives and loss of properties when emergencies occur. The victim, a local artisan was engaged to dig the well and in the process, slipped and fell inside the well and got trapped.
