’90s rock band 4 Non Blondes, known for their hit “What’s Up?”, is reuniting for a rare performance at the BottleRock Napa Valley festival this May. This marks only their second time playing together since disbanding after their 1992 debut album, Bigger, Better, Faster, More!
Singer Linda Perry shared on The Allison Hagendorf Show how her desire for a reunion aligned with the festival offer. “I’ve been putting that energy out… It’s the right time in my head and my heart,” Perry said.
The band, last seen performing at a 2014 fundraiser, includes Perry, bassist Christa Hillhouse, guitarist Roger Rocha, and drummer Dawn Richardson. Perry hinted at new music possibilities, revealing a second album was once recorded but never released.
The BottleRock festival runs from May 23-25 in California.
