Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold has released his sixth studio album, Fuji, a tribute to the traditional Yoruba sound that helped shape modern Afro beats. Drawing from his roots and inspired by Fuji music’s rich cultural legacy, Gold blends indigenous percussion with modern R&B to create a vibrant, emotional body of work.
Now based in the U.S., the artist also known as AG Baby says his heart remains in Lagos. Fuji reflects his personal journey, touching on family, fatherhood, grief, and love. Known for global hits like “Party No Dey Stop,” Gold continues to bridge traditional Nigerian music with contemporary global sounds.
Beyond music, Gold is actively raising awareness about sickle cell disease, a condition he lives with, and has launched a foundation to support affected communities.
