Hon. Temitope Adewale Applauds Tinubu's Drive for 100% Literacy by 2031

The lawmaker representing Ifako-Ijaiye constituency at the Lagos state House of Assembly Hon Temitope Adewale,has commended the administration of President Bola Tinubu determination to achieve a hundred percent literacy across the country before the end of 2031.

The lawmaker made this assertion while inspecting the screening distribution of free GCE forms to prospective candidates in his constituency.

The lawmaker who commended the Federal Government for the various initiatives aimed at pulling the youth off the streets and engaging them in meaningful ventures including education noting that since the introduction of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) by the President Bola Tinubu administration, more Nigerians are eager for admission into tertiary institutions in the country.

“You see, Mr. President is doing everything possible to boost the literacy level in the country. And given the way the government is going, by the end of President Tinubu’s second term in 2031, Nigeria will be boasting 100% literacy rate and this would include resolving the issue of out-of-school kids,” Adewale said.

Hon Adewale also commended Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration in supporting the federal government initiatives through the just recent graduation of over five thousand Lagos residents who were trained by the state in skill acquisition programme that will create more entrepreneurs.

He stressed that over eight thousand forms have been distributed and four hundred forms will be distributed this year inclusive of JAMB which had early been distributed and the award of scholarships to students in different tertiary institutions is a testament of his commitment to the use of education as tools to change lives and shape future. out JAMB forms because we know that
“This says a lot about the government’s interest in the youth and, given another term with President Tinubu and our party in power, Nigerians will look back sometime in the future and thank God that we had this chance,” he added.
