Akinyemi Ayinoluwa, an entertainment lawyer and partner at Hightower Solicitors and Advocate, has been recognized by Billboard as one of the world’s most influential music lawyers for 2025.
This recognition underscores Ayinoluwa’s outstanding expertise in music law and his relentless advocacy for the rights of record producers and songwriters. According to Billboard’s April edition, Ayinoluwa’s firm, Hightower Solicitors, recently concluded a publishing agreement with Empire Music, a global music label.
Ayinoluwa’s firm also worked with Ragee, a renowned Afrobeats producer who co-produced Chris Brown’s “Sensational,” which earned a Grammy nomination for Best African Music Performance in 2025. This success reflects Hightower’s exceptional ability to help clients build valuable music catalogs.
In an interview with NAN, Ayinoluwa expressed his gratitude, saying, “I feel blessed to be recognized by Billboard as one of the most important music lawyers in the world. I dedicate this to my late father, who instilled in me the discipline to stay on course, introduced me to law, and supported my passion for music.”
