Akpabio Pledges Pro-Worker Laws, Better Welfare on May Day

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has assured Nigerian workers of labour-friendly legislations as they celebrate May Day. 

Akpabio in a statement, also commended workers for their productivity, diligence, and resilience despite socio-economic challenges, and promised to prioritize workers’ welfare, security, and conditions of service, guaranteeing their rights and protecting them from victimization. 

He then vowed to work with the Executive to address workers’ concerns and create opportunities for growth and prosperity.
