The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo has summoned heads of regulatory agencies in the ministry to address recent safety concerns in the aviation sector.
Reacting to questions regarding the recent incident of a plane-diversion to Asaba, Delta state, the Minister reiterated that a full assessment of the incident has commenced and all persons indicted will be sanctioned over the landing error.
He however added that in the course of the investigation the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has suspended the Wet lease of the Airline involved.

Correspondent, Raliat Adenekan reports that the Aviation Minister also bemoaned the unfavourable agreement entered into by the failed Nigeria Air with Ethiopian Air by the former administration, reiterating that while the operations of the Carrier remains suspended, audit reports have been submitted to President Bola Tinubu for further actions.
