The Senate Committee on Banking, Insurance, and Other Financial Institutions has postponed its interactive session with the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Olayemi Cardoso till Friday 9th at 9 am.
This was announced by the Chairman of the Committee, Senator Adetokunbo Abiru (APC, Lagos East) on Tuesday at the committee meeting, stating that the postponement of the interactive session was due to the CBN Governor being held at the House of Representatives in trying to address some economic issues.
He added that the committee will now meet the Monetary authorities alongside the fiscal authority team to have a wholistic discussion about the dwindling economy.
