He made the investment through CR7 Sports Investments, a subsidiary of CR7 S.A., joining the ownership group led by SMC Group president Mohamed Al Khereiji. The deal strengthens the club’s international expansion plans.

Al Khereiji welcomed Ronaldo’s arrival, highlighting his deep knowledge of Spanish football and belief in the club’s long-term project.

Ronaldo said he wants to contribute to football beyond his playing career and sees strong potential in Almería’s team and academy.

The 41-year-old forward plays for Al Nassr FC and built his legacy during a nine-year spell at Real Madrid, where he became the club’s all-time leading scorer.
