Nigeria’s senior men’s basketball team, D’Tigers, have arrived in Angola ahead of the 2025 FIBA AfroBasket tournament, which kicks off on Tuesday.
The final 12-man roster, announced on Saturday, includes NBA shooting guard Josh Okogie of the Houston Rockets, veterans Stan Okoye and Talib Zanna, as well as guard Ike Nwamu.
Head coach Mohammed Abdulrahman will lead the side, with Okoye and Nwamu serving as co-captains.
Nigeria, drawn in Group B alongside Tunisia, Cameroon and Madagascar, will face Madagascar in their opening game on August 13, as they chase a second continental title since 2015.
