Travis Kelce’s father, Ed Kelce, is excited to see his son’s relationship with Taylor Swift develop further.

Ahead of Travis’ Super Bowl game on Feb. 9, Ed shared his thoughts on their romance in an interview with Australia’s Today show, expressing optimism about their time together after the NFL season and Swift’s Eras Tour.

“I think once the Super Bowl is over, they’ll have more time to truly connect,” he said, calling Swift a “joy to be around.”

Ed also noted that the singer has been immersing herself in football, watching games with her dad and learning more about the sport.

When asked about rumors of her joining Kendrick Lamar during the halftime show, Ed admitted he had no idea, saying, “I haven’t talked to Taylor this week.”

As for wedding speculation, he playfully dodged the question, joking, “Did you really think I was going to answer that?”
