Federal Government has declared Wednesday December 25^th, Thursday December 26^th 2024, and Wednesday January 1^st, 2025 as Public Holidays to celebrate Christmas, Boxing Day and New Year Day.

Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, announced this in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, while urging Nigerians to remain committed to the peace, unity and progress of the nation for national development.
