The concluded meeting between the Senior Staff Association Of Nigeria University (SSANU) and Federal Government ended in deadlock last night, with thew university workers’ union insisting their strike action continues.

Recall that SSANU and NASU embarked on a seven-day nationwide strike on Monday to protest the refusal of the Federal Government to pay their four-month salaries withheld for embarking on strike action in 2021.

On Wednesday, the National president (SSANU) Muhammed Ibrahim said despite repeated demands for better pay and conditions, the government continued to ignore the needs of SSANU and NASU members.
