Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has directed a comprehensive investigation into allegations of bribery and corruption within the Nigerian Correctional Service.
Giving the order in a statement yesterday, the Minister condemned the alleged behavior, and emphasized that any form of indiscipline, unprofessionalism, and corruption will be met with zero tolerance and severe consequences within the paramilitary services under his watch.
This follows a bribery allegation by Idris Okuneye, well known as Bobrisky, in a video released by a blogger, Martins Otse, popularly called VeryDarkMan, against a top officer of the Nigeria Correctional Service and the EFCC.
