Executive Director, National Primary Healthcare Development Agency (NPHCDA), Dr Muyi Aina, says the Federal Government has announced the revitalisation of more than 901 Primary Health Centres (PHCs) across Nigeria.
Speaking at a press briefing to begin the World Vaccination Week, Dr Aina who said extra 2701 primary healthcare centres are undergoing renovation nationwide, expressed joy that vaccination had improved by 54% with seven states upscaling, while 26 million children had been vaccinated so far,
Highlighting the achievements of the agency in the past year, Dr Aina also said 120,000 healthcare workers had been retrained and emergency services had been improved with the provision of ambulances across the country.
