The Federal Government is billed to inaugurate three major cancer facilities with equipment’s by May 2025, having already flagged off 10 other major cancer diagnostic centres across the country five months ago.

Coordinating Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof Muhammad Pate, disclosed this yesterday, following the approval of the establishment of six quipped cancer infrastructures by President Bola Tinubu early last year.

Pate said the cancer facilities will have linear accelerators, brachytherapy, and other diagnostic equipment in a bid to afford good quality cancer care in Nigeria.
