The Nigeria Football Federation has unveiled Finidi George as coach of Nigeria’s senior men’s national team; the Super Eagles.
In a brief ceremony in Abuja, the NFF President Ibrahim Gusau, revealed that the Federation gave Finidi George the free hand to select his assistants, and named Daniel Amokachi and Benjamin James to serve as his assistant coaches, while Olatunji Baruwa will be the goalkeepers’ trainer.
He also said issues surrounding non-payment of Salaries and allowances for coaches and players are over.
In a brief remark, George expressed commitment saying his immediate task and priority is to qualify the nation for the 2026 World Cup slated for Canada, Mexico and U.S.
