The House of Representatives is set to issue a warrant of arrest on the Executive Members of Binance (crypto currency platform) who were absent at the investigative hearing held today at the National Assembly.

During the investigative hearing, Hon. Isa Dogonyaro, a member of the committee on Financial Crimes, moved a motion on the need for the committee to evoke it’s powers through the House to issue a warrant of arrest on the management of Binance.

Our correspondent Nathan Williams reports that the Chairman of the committee Hon. Onwusibe stated that the house will issue a warrant of arrest on Binance over various allegations levelled against them ranging from Financing of Terrorism, Tax Evasion amongst others.
