National Sports Commission has approved the release of an investigative report examining the negative publicity surrounding Nigeria’s participation in the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. 

The investigative panel, chaired by Dr. Mumini Alao, completed its work and submitted its findings on October 22, 2024. 

The new National Sports Commission, Shehu Dikko, endorsed the report’s release to ensure transparency and address concerns raised during Nigeria’s Olympic and Paralympic campaign in Paris.
