Jennifer Lopez is being sued for posting photos of herself at a Hollywood party without permission.
Photographer Edwin Blanco and agency Backgrid claim they own the rights to two images Lopez shared on social media from the Vanity Fair and Amazon MGM Studios event in January.
They’re seeking up to $150,000 in damages per photo, arguing the posts boosted her brand and public image.
In the past, Jennifer was sued by Splash News and Picture Agency in October 2019 for $150,000 for posting a photo of herself and Alex Rodriguez. In April 2020, photographer Steve Sands sought damages for unauthorized use of his image by Jennifer and her production company, Nuyorican Productions.
