Nigeria Should Be Receiving Commendations, Not Threats - Lagos Lawmaker

By: Ayo Agbeoluwaye

Member representing Ifako-Ijaiye Constituency at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adewale Temitope Adedeji says the administration of President Bola Tinubu deserves commendation, support and international collaboration from international and not threats.

In a statement by his media aide, Hon Temitope Adedeji urged the United States President, Donald Trump to reconsider his stands on the happening in Nigeria noting president Tinubu is however aware of the challenges faced, but has continued to support the security architectures of the country with the recent changes in the armed forces hierarchy

The lawmaker argued that President Tinubu understands the challenges and he has never stopped strengthening the nation’s security architecture as seen in the recent change of guard in the Nigerian Armed Forces.

The Ifako-Ijaiye lawmaker noted that in the last two years, countries and various global organisations have acknowledged the growing economic successes recorded by the current administration stressing that the Economic indices has continue to prove that the government is on the right track

He therefore called for support and encouragement for the new service chiefs to live up to expectations and do all that is necessary to ensure they put a final stop to insurgents in the country.
