The Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has called on Lagosians to continue to support and remember families of the Armed forces as well as fallen heroes who paid the supreme prize for the nation.

Governor Sanwo-Olu said this in Alausa during the Year 2024 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Interdenominational Service, themed: “Honouring Sacrifice”.

The Governor who was represented by the Deputy Chief of Staff, Gboyega Soyannwo at the event organised by the Ministry of Home Affairs, said the occasion presents the opportunity to remember the supreme prize paid by the military who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Nigeria.
