Defending champions Liverpool thrashed Tottenham Hotspur 4-0 to reach the final of the Carabao Cup.

The Reds went into the semi-final second leg needing to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg, and goals from Cody Gakpo, Mohamed Salah, Dominik Szoboszlai and Virgil van Dijk secured the dominant win.

Liverpool will now face Newcastle United in the final in Wembley on Sunday, March 16, after the Magpies defeated Arsenal 2-0 in semi-final second leg to go through 4-0 on aggregate.
