The National Assembly HAS approved the ₦1.77 trillion loan request of President Bola Tinubu after a voice vote in favor of the request.
This was after the Senate and House of Representatives Committees on Local and Foreign Debts presented their reports at both chambers yesterday.
President Tinubu had on Tuesday, said the loan request is part of a fresh external borrowing plan to partially finance the N9.7 trillion budget deficit for this year.
MEANWHILE, the red chamber also approved the nomination of Omolola Oloworaran as Director General of the National Pension Commission.
