The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Lagos Territorial Office, has said floods in Lagos can be mitigated if all stakeholders play their part accordingly.
At a high-powered emergency responders stakeholders meeting, held in Alausa, to find a way forward in preparation for unforeseen emergencies, Head of Operation at NEMA Lagos Territorial Office, Mrs Ibitayo Adenike, said there is the need to create awareness among the public to do the needful.
Also speaking, Dr. Femi Oke-Osanyitolu the Permanent Secretary at the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), told reporters that the emergency responders technical meeting was held to enable stakeholders bring all ideas together for a holistic solution to emergencies in the rainy season.
