The Nigeria Police, on Wednesday, arrested and detained three personnel of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps for shooting two students of Senior Secondary School, Life Camp, within the Jabi and Gwarinpa areas of the FCT.
The two students shot by the NSCDC operatives are currently receiving treatment at the Gwarinpa Hospital. Some irate high school students had vandalized three patrol vehicles belonging to the
NSCDC in protest against the attack, following the shooting.
The NSCDC personnel were reportedly at the school to provide security during an ongoing examination on the premises. FCT Police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, who confirmed the incident, noted that the police had since restored peace in the affected area, while investigations had commenced.
