Routine maintenance on the Nigeria Immigration Service’s Passport Digital Platform was announced, with users expected to experience temporary disruptions from 12 to 14 December 2025.

The exercise was described as necessary to improve system performance and user experience. Public patience was requested, and support was made available through official channels. Temporary complaint-response handles were also activated to ensure continued assistance during the downtime.
