Things are heating up in Big Brother Naija Season 11, as housemate Whitney “Nomy” Chukwu, has been disqualified from the ‘Show Ya Sef’ house following repeated defiance of Big Brother’s instructions.
The “Show Ya Sef” house has had evictions from Gerrard, Goddessa, Sultex, Mercedes, Martins, Kamsy, Cassie and now Nomy’s disqualification announced on Monday after she repeatedly refused to comply with instructions relating to a punishment imposed on her following a Head of House challenge.
The announcement was made on its official Instagram page @BigBroNaija stating “Nomy (@_officialnomy) has been disqualified from the Big Brother Naija Show Ya Sef house following repeated defiance of Big Brother’s instructions. Big Brother revoked her privilege to participate in the game and gave her 30 minutes to gather her belongings and leave the house.”
Nomy’s disqualification comes after several warnings by BigBrother and after she had earlier received a strike for repeatedly defying Big Brother’s instructions. She had previously been punished after failing to comply with the ‘benchwarmer’ outfit directive following her performance in a Head of House challenge.
The decision brings Nomy’s time in the ‘Show Ya Sef’ house to an end. She joins Faith(Season 10/10), Ibu Prisca (Season 9, 2024), Beauty Tukura (Season 7, 2022), Erica Nlewedim (Season 5, 2020), Natacha “Tacha” Akide (Season 4, 2019), Khloe (Abiri Oluwabusayomi) and K-Brule (Kelvin Brouillette) (Season 3, 2018), Kemen (Ezekiel Kemen Edet) (Season 2, 2017), as other ex-housemates to be disqualified from the reality show.
Nomy, whose real name is Whitney Nneoma Chukwu, is a 26year old fashion entrepreneur and the owner of “Ambition by Witme”. She entered the Big Brother Naija Season 11 house in July 2026 and quickly became known for being stylish, confident and outspoken.
