‎Omniverse Africa Summit 3.0 Set to Drive Innovation and Partnerships in Lagos

‎The Omniverse Africa Summit 3.0 is set to convene Africa’s most influential voices in technology, entrepreneurship, policy, and the creative economy in Lagos this June.

‎The four-day summit, themed “Connected Future: Synergy for Impact,” will hold from June 2 to 5, 2026, at the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and Creative Arts in Iganmu.

‎Organisers say the event will build on previous editions that have attracted over 30,000 participants from more than 20 countries.

‎The platform has also featured over 180 speakers and 80 partners across sectors, facilitating investment deals and over 3,000 job matches through its Career Centre.

‎Co-Convener of Omniverse Africa, Charles Emembolu, says the summit is designed to translate ideas into measurable impact.

‎“The Omniverse Africa Summit is a global-facing platform that brings together key actors shaping Africa’s digital and creative economy,” he said.

‎Emembolu added that “with Summit 3.0, we are raising the bar by creating a space where ideas translate into partnerships, capital flows, and real opportunities.”

‎The summit will feature digital transformation sessions, exhibitions, deal rooms, and policy roundtables aimed at driving innovation and collaboration.

‎Other highlights include a Career Centre for talent placement, creative industry showcases, and immersive experience zones.

‎Lagos State Employment Trust Fund representative, Feyisayo Alayande, says the state is proud to host the gathering.

‎“Lagos is proud to host the Omniverse Africa Summit as a leading hub for innovation, enterprise, and talent,” Alayande stated.

‎She noted that “the summit’s focus on talent placement aligns with our commitment to reducing unemployment and building a future-ready workforce.”

‎The European Union also reaffirmed its support for the initiative through its development partnerships.

‎EU representative, Inga Stefanowicz, said, “Platforms like Omniverse play a vital role in connecting talent, research, and investment to drive sustainable and inclusive growth.”

‎She added that the summit reflects the EU’s commitment to strengthening collaboration in digital transformation and innovation across Africa.

‎The event is expected to attract government leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, academics, and creatives, positioning Lagos as a hub for continental innovation and deal-making.
