Ahead of the Ondo State Governorship election, three prominent figures, including the incumbent Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim, and Financial Strategist Wale Akinterinwa, have officially submitted their nomination and expression of interest forms.
Addressing the media at the All Progressive’s Congress (APC) National Secretariat yesterday in Abuja, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim unveiled innovative security proposals, advocating for the use of technology such as apps and drones to bolster security measures throughout Ondo State.
In a separate remark, Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa expressed respect for all aspirants as well as emphasized ongoing governance improvements, including initiatives to tackle salary arrears, and development of the state’s agriculture sector.
Similarly, Financial Strategist Wale Akinterinwa articulated his vision to elevate Ondo State into an economic powerhouse comparable to Lagos, outlining strategies focused on industrialization and agriculture.
