Legendary heavy metal band Black Sabbath will reunite for a final farewell concert in Birmingham on July 5, headlining a massive one-day festival at Villa Park. The event, titled Back To The Beginning, will feature metal giants including Metallica, Pantera, Slayer, Gojira, and Anthrax.

This will be the first time in 20 years that the band’s original lineup—Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward—performs together. Osbourne, who has battled Parkinson’s disease and spinal injuries, will play a solo set before joining his bandmates. His wife, Sharon Osbourne, confirmed it will be his final performance, calling it his “full stop.”
The concert will also feature a supergroup with stars like Billy Corgan, Slash, Fred Durst, Wolfgang Van Halen, and Tom Morello, who is serving as the event’s musical director. Proceeds will support Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, and Acorn Children’s Hospice.
Osbourne, 76, expressed his excitement, saying he never had the chance to properly say goodbye to fans. Despite health struggles, he remains determined to end his career on a high note.
