A public memorial for country music legend Jeannie Seely will be held on Aug. 14 at 11 a.m. at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. The event, titled Jeannie Seely’s 5,389th Opry Show, honors her record-setting Opry performances.

Fans can attend in person, listen on WSM 650 AM, or livestream via Vimeo.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Opry Trust Fund.

Seely passed away on Aug. 1 due to complications from an intestinal infection after battling significant health issues throughout 2025.
