A 33-year-old Nigerian man, Segun Ogundipe, has been sentenced to five years in prison in the United Kingdom for committing multiple sexual offences against a woman in Gloucester.
According to a report shared on social media by Eye_opener220, Ogundipe, who resided on Tuffley Lane in Gloucester, was found guilty of rape, two counts of sexual assault, and assault by penetration. He had denied the allegations but was ultimately convicted.
The sentencing took place at Gloucester Crown Court shortly after another Nigerian man, Elvis Nosakhare, received a six-year prison sentence for sexually abusing his girlfriend’s underage daughter.
Gloucestershire Police stated that the incident involving Ogundipe happened in 2022, after he met the victim at her place of work and later invited her out for drinks.
