Super Falcons promise victory against Cape Verde’- in African Women’s Cup qualifier 2nd leg

Sports

The Super Falcons have promised to beat Cape Verde when they meet today in
the second leg of their Morocco 2024 African Women’s Cup of Nations qualifier.

The Falcons’ delegation arrived in Praia at the weekend. Nigeria beat Cape Verde 5-0 in the first leg of the tie in Abuja and are tipped to complete the job against their hosts tomorrow.

Cape Verde need to win by more than 5-0 to upset the record African champions in the race to Morocco, however it is on record that “no African team has beaten the Super Falcons by more than 3-0.”
