Tamra Judge opened up about her mental health struggles on the Real Housewives of Orange County Season 19 premiere, revealing she’s been deeply emotional and overwhelmed in therapy.

The 57-year-old shared that she’s been grappling with unresolved trauma from her custody battle with ex-husband Simon Barney, estrangement from her daughter Sidney, and her absent father. She admitted to heightened sensory issues and intrusive thoughts.

Her therapist noted that unprocessed trauma can mimic symptoms of autism, but emphasized the need for formal assessment due to multiple variables.

Tamra also addressed backlash she received in October 2024 for publicly claiming she was “on the spectrum” after just one therapy session. She later admitted it was a mistake: “I misspoke on my podcast. I shouldn’t have said anything. I got publicly annihilated.”
