Lolo Eremie is a Presenter who wears several hats as a Marcomms Exec, Filmmaker / Content Creator and Performing Artist, she refers to herself as a Corporate-Creative.
In 2002, she was voice behind the infamous MTN holiday advert, âYellow, Yellow Christmasâ, written and performed by her. Prior to this, she was part of then-popular theatre troupe, âRhythm of The Blackmanâ which gave rise to performers like O.C Ukeje. After a stint in Advertising, she veered into the Telecoms space where she spent roughly a decade Lolo in the fields of Corporate Communications, Content Acquisitions and Marketing Communications. Sequel to her stint in Corporate Sector, she veered towards filmmaking and her Directorial debut is an African-fantasy re-telling of the Cinderella story, titled âTarellaâ, co-Directed by Kayode Kasum and starring Richard Mofe-Damijo, Timini Egbuson, Okawa Shaznay, Gideon Okeke, Elvina Baby Ibru, Nengi Rebecca Hampson and William Benson to mention a few. Her other works include feature film, GuynMan starring Jimmy Odukoya, Adunni Ade, Chico Alligekwe, Ireti Doyle and Tope Olowoniyan which earned an AMVCA nomination.
As a Story Researcher, her works include DSTV Showmaxâs acclaimed tv series Chetaâm,(2024), Africa Magicâs Itura, (2023) Riona (2020) and Showmaxâs Diiche (2022). She is also a Voice Actor, featured on IrokoTVâs animation for children titled âStoryTimeâ, Seasons 1 â 4, alongside âLAGOSAâ, Seasons 2 and 3, a radio drama series. Nicknamed the Hostess With Mostess, Lolo is the face behind OpenMic Thursdays (OpenMic With Lolo) at Bogobirii which till 2015, ran almost a decade and as a musician, Lolo has released several works mainly focused on her pride in Nigeria via songs like: âGreen Kpali (Naija 4 Life) and âNaija Go Surviveâ. A Certified Film Editor and Linguist, she is fluent in French and German. Lolo is also a certified Advertising (ARCON)), Public Relations (NIPR) and Marketing (NIMN) Practitioner with a wealth of experience cutting across the corporate and creative spheres.
