Nigeria’s First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu, has donated ₦1bn to victims of clashes in Plateau State.
Mrs. Tinubu announced the donation, which also included food items and clothing, on behalf of the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) when she and the RHI team visited the state in solidarity and to lend a helping hand.
According to her, her visit was to condole the government and people of the state following the recent wave of attacks that have left over 250 persons dead and over 5,000 displaced.
The Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwuang, assured the wife of the President that his government and people would continue to forge peace and unity, as he pledged that the funds would be put to good use.
