The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has disclosed that the new WASSCE (PC1) resit examination does not apply to Nigerian candidates.

In a post on X WAEC said candidates with outstanding grades can however register for the WASSCE (PC1) 2025 that commences soon.

The exam to be held this time from January 24 to February 15, 2025, offers students the opportunity to retake failed subjects from previous West African Senior School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE).

The WAEC official also explained that this program offers a faster route for students to improve their grades.
