The parents of Nigerian and Global music star Burna Boy, Bose and Samuel Ogulu, recently celebrated their 36th wedding anniversary.
Bose Ogulu, popularly known as “Mama Burna”, marked the milestone by sharing romantic photographs of herself and her husband on social media. The pictures showed the couple posing together in different outfits, including coordinated black attire, as they celebrated more than three decades of marriage.
In a heartfelt message accompanying the photographs, Bose described Samuel as her partner and closest friend while celebrating their life together.

She wrote, “Happy 36th anniversary, Sam. Thirty Six beautiful years of love, friendship and unforgettable memories.” She also described him as her “best friend” and an “incredible father” to their children.
The couple, who have three children, have largely kept their relationship away from the public eye despite their connection to the entertainment industry through their son, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy.
Bose has played a significant role in Burna Boy’s career as his manager, helping guide his rise from a Nigerian artiste to an internationally recognised music star.
Their latest anniversary celebration has drawn attention as fans celebrate the couple’s enduring relationship and the family behind one of Nigeria’s biggest music stars.
Classic Cheers to the Ogulu’s
