President Tinubu has ordered the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) to work with the Oyo State Government to offer immediate and comprehensive relief to victims of the explosion that rocked Ibadan last night.
In a statement signed by the presidential spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, President Tinubu who commiserated with the government and people of Oyo State said those behind the explosion, should be fished out and punished while calling on all concerned agencies of government to unravel the circumstances that led to the tragedy.
Similarly, the Minister of Defence, Muhammad Badaru, said concerted efforts are in top gear to put an end immediately to all the security challenges that has bedeviled the nation, but urged Nigerians to cooperate with government’s efforts while charging them to desist from crowdfunding to pay ransom for kidnap cases.
