The Federal Government has shutdown the use of the Integrated Personnel and Payroll Information System, IPPIS, for Federal Tertiary Institutions. 

Director of Press, Office of the Accountant General of the Federation, Bawa Mokwa, told journalists that November salaries for federal tertiary institutions will be processed through the Government Integrated Financial Management Information System. 

Mokwa also dismissed as untrue reports making the round that the Accountant General of the Federation directed workers to change their salary bank accounts, explaining that whenever there was an application for change of salary account, it was always a personal decision of the worker concerned.
