The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris Malagi, has reiterated Federal government’s resolve to extend a single-digit interest rate financing through the Bank of Industry to all media organisations, designed to mitigate the high operational costs faced by the media in the country.

Speaking at the ongoing ministerial sectoral update yesterday in Abuja, Malagi urged media practitioners to develop viable proposals to access the financing, while emphasizing the government’s commitment to supporting the industry.

Malagi while highlighting the administration’s focus on transparency and accountability, restated the government’s dedication to creating an enabling environment for all stakeholders in the media and information ecosystem.
