Legendary actor Gene Hackman, known for his iconic roles in The French Connection and Superman, has passed away at the age of 95.

Hackman and his wife, classical pianist Betsy Arakawa, were found dead at their home in Santa Fe Summit on Wednesday, February 26, according to the Santa Fe New Mexican. County Sheriff Adan Mendoza confirmed the deaths, along with that of their dog.

Mendoza stated that there was no immediate evidence of foul play but did not disclose the cause of death or provide details on when the couple, married for over 30 years, had passed away.
