Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen is now set for a permanent switch to Turkish giants Galatasaray and will soon undergo his medical. This follows the club’s successful agreement with Napoli on all transfer terms ahead of today’s deadline.

The deal was sealed on Sunday after weeks of drawn-out negotiations, with Napoli confirming that Galatasaray had met conditions including the anti-Serie A clause and payment structure.

Osimhen, who was on loan at Galatasaray last season, impressed with 37 goals and eight assists in 41 appearances. Galatasaray will activate his €75 million release clause—paying €40 million upfront and the balance in instalments by 2026.
