The Commissioner for Transportation in Lagos state, Mr. Frederick Oladeinde has explained that the State Parking Authority (LASPA) is working with laid down laws of the state to make Lagos comfortable for all.
The commissioner stated this Wednesday at the Press Center in Alausa while setting the records straight that LASPA was “not out to exploit Lagosians” – contrary to speculations that the state was going to enforce payment of levy for “parking vehicles” in their compounds.
Also speaking, General Manager at LASPA, Mrs. Adebisi Adelabu, explained that the activities of the agency is to further strengthen the accountability project of the state, even though the agency was not thought out to generate revenue but to regulate parking at public and residential areas.
