Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, says the maiden Lagos Shopping Festival, scheduled to hold from December 23 to 25 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena on Lagos Island will create employment opportunities and drive commercial activities.

Governor Sanwo-Olu, who stated this during the unveiling of the festival symbol at the Lagos House, Ikeja, said it will attract local and international tourists and brands to the state, boost local businesses, and create direct and indirect employment opportunities in diverse ways.

The festival’s Director of Organisation and Logistics, Damilola Pedro, who described Governor Sanwo-Olu as the Lead Strategist and Biggest Sales Person for Lagos, said the shopping festival will promote trade and commerce during the three days of activities.
