The Federal Government will train and certify 1,000 Nigerians and 10,000 public servants in data protection next month to enhance the nation’s capacity in data management and privacy.
Commissioner of the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC), Dr. Vincent Olatunji, who told this to newsmen yesterday in Abuja, noted that while this training typically costs around $1,000, the government is offering it at no charge to support job creation and professional development.
Olatunji also urged Nigerians to work with the government to advance the country’s development to more international recognition.
