Interim Head Coach of the CHAN Eagles, Daniel Ogunmodede has called up 26 players to begin camping ahead of the 8th edition of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) finals.
The CHAN Eagles are expected to begin a closed-camp training at the Remo Stars Sports Institute, Ikenne-Remo, Ogun.
The CHAN Eagles will on January 15 in Kenya know their first round opponents in the delayed 2024 CHAN, as the draw for the tournament will be staged at the Kenyatta International Convention in Nairobi, Kenya.
The eighth edition of the African Nations Championship, exclusive to players competing in the domestic leagues accross Africa, will be jointly hosted by Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda, from Feb. 1 to Feb. 28
