Edo Queens FC yesterday suffered a 3-1 defeat against TP Mazembe of Congo in the semifinals of the ongoing CAF Women’s Championships League in Morocco.

Nigeria’s sole representative at the competition, will now fight for the bronze medal in the third-place match against FC Masar of Egypt on Friday, WHILE TP Mazembe will now lock horns with Moroccan side AS FAR in the finals on Saturday. 

Meanwhile, Confederation of African Football had earlier named Cordeila Odoma and Emem Essien of Edo Queens in its best 11 players of the group stage.
